Airship Amour

At the start of the game, you’re the newest crew member aboard the steampunk airship, The L’Amour Soaring! Choose your station and meet a colorful cast of your fellow crew members, some of which will ask you out on a series of dates in the hopes of finding love in the romantic air.

Airship Amour is a cross between a gm-less solo journaling tabletop role playing game and a lesbian dating sim. In case you're unfamiliar, all that means is, Airship Amour is a game you play on your own. Unlike many other tabletop roleplaying games (or TTRPGs), you don't need a group of people to play with and you don't need anyone else to run the game for you to make things happen. Most of the gameplay will happen through drawing cards and journaling the events as well as your character’s reactions based on your interpretation of the cards drawn and  how you think your character would respond. As a lesbian dating sim, all of the romanceable characters are sapphic and written with the intention to be lesbians. However, you may interpret the characters in any way you like and you do not have to be a lesbian or even a woman to enjoy this game.

What you need to play

All you need to play is a PDF copy of the rulebook, a pen and journal, and a set of tarot cards. You could use your own tarot if you have any, or you could download and print out the set that came with this game. Pick out the 22 major arcana cards, those will be all the cards you need for the game. The rest can be set aside.

But wait! The game is unfinished!

Airship Amour is a living story...one that is still being written. While the game is fully playable, the scripted dates are not yet included. But don’t worry! Your journey aboard the L’Amour Soaring doesn’t have to wait.

For now, you can create your own dates with the romanceable characters. When a character asks you out, you get to decide what kind of date it will be. Will it be a cozy evening in the observatory? A thrilling adventure tracking skybeasts? An evening tinkering with personal projects? A quiet moment shared over tea and laughter? The sky is the limit.

Updates to Airship Amour will bring fully written dates in the future, but for now, let the cards and your imagination lead the way.
